This senior level position coordinates with other departments as needed in order to resolve problems and provide technical support in order to assist with engineering operations. Provides basic, discipline-specific training to new systems users. Performs data management activities, which include loading/entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data related to engineering operations. Provides user support for software systems to other technical support and professional personnel, which may include installation and maintenance of software and troubleshooting user issues. Performs engineering calculations and preliminary analyses for interpretation of data and provides information to engineers. Performs advanced data analysis and makes recommendations based on interpretation of data. Recommends design improvements using complex, but established procedures. Coordinates data transfer and updates shared data sources among departments.
