The CRC Well Operations Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking to fill a Well Operations Project Manager position. Primary responsibilities include: development of visualization tools and processes to help automate workflows of the organization, project management of specialized Well Operations projects, and providing analysis/recommendations to maximize value for the Well Operations Team.

The ideal candidate combines operational knowledge with strong analytical and process improvement skills and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

The base annual salary for this posted position is expected to range from $80K - $130K, with a target annual bonus of 10-20% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. Actual salary will be determined based on individual pay factors, including education, experience level and relevant industry experience. Position Overview:
• Track and manage maintenance-related service providers, rig activity, and field equipment utilization
• Optimize business processes and data quality controls across CRC core systems to improve cost visibility, tracking accuracy, and operational compliance
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams and other groups to improve planning, scheduling, and execution efficiency
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across routine maintenance, workovers, and production support activities
• Develop and maintain performance metrics to monitor operating cost trends and identify optimization opportunities
• Partner with Finance and Planning to align operating forecasts, actuals, and variance reporting
• Develop standardized reporting and dashboards to support operational decision-making
• Identify and correct process gaps impacting maintenance efficiency, cost control, and field performance
• Liaison between the Well Engineering Team and Project Management Office to improve company processes for increased efficiency and execution

Responsibilities:

Operational Data Management & Reporting
• Create KPIs and dashboards to monitor cost per well, maintenance efficiency, and equipment reliability metrics
• Develop and steward processes for accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting of operating expenses
• Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities to reduce recurring maintenance and field service costs
• Support budget development, variance analysis, and long-range operational planning

Process Improvement & Data Stewardship
• Partner with IT to enhance data capture, automation, and reporting tools that support operational efficiency
• Standardize workflows for maintenance planning, work order tracking, and vendor performance management
• Identify data gaps and implement controls to improve cost forecasting accuracy
• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on continuous improvement and cost optimization
• Support internal and external reporting requirements related to operational performance

Qualifications:
• Must have proficiency with data querying (SQL, Python, VBA, etc) and utilization of a variety of visualization platforms (Spotfire, PowerBI, etc).
• Minimum of 3 years of oil and gas industry experience or demonstrated knowledge of upstream operations
• Experience with operational budgeting, forecasting, and economic evaluation
• Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and process optimization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-task environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High ethical standards, collaborative mindset, and service-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in data governance and operational data management
• Understanding of upstream production operations and cost structures
• Familiarity with oil and gas regulatory and operational compliance requirements
• Exposure to predictive maintenance or reliability analytics
