PLC Technicians – 14/14 Rotation – Up to $25/hr – Houston, TX

Ensign Energy is seeking PLC Technicians to support drilling rig automation and control system deployments across its global fleet. This role involves installing and troubleshooting rig-based PLCs and control networks, with a rotational schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off. The ideal candidate will have extensive oilfield electrical experience and a strong background in rig systems and controls. Domestic and international travel is required.

What you’ll need:
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred)
• 5+ years electrical experience in oil and gas
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and industrial communications (Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
• Ability to read schematics and ladder diagrams
• Valid driver’s license and U.S. passport
• Physically able to climb, lift, and work in harsh environments
• Willingness to travel and work rotational overnight shifts
