Project Manager - Oil & Gas

Job Description
We are seeking a highly technical Project Manager with experience supporting the oil and gas industry. This role is responsible for managing complex projects involving oil and gas facilities and pipeline systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, practical field experience, and a solid understanding of the oil and gas industry.
Same-day travel to field locations may be required once or twice per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and deliver capital and operational projects for oil and gas facilities and pipeline systems from concept through commissioning.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Construction, and external contractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for projects, providing engineering insight and practical problem-solving support.
• Oversee facility and pipeline modifications, upgrades, tie-ins, expansions, integrity projects, and maintenance-related capital work.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, standards, and company engineering and safety practices.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and equipment data sheets.
• Support equipment selection and evaluation, including compressors, pumps, separators, valves, metering, and associated infrastructure.
• Manage contractor performance, including scope development, bid evaluations, field oversight, and cost control.
• Support field execution and startup activities, working directly with operations personnel.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, operability, safety, and cost efficiency across assets.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Civil, or related discipline) required.
• Minimum 5 + years of project management experience supporting oil and gas production.
• Direct experience with oil and gas facilities and pipeline projects is required.
• Strong operations experience is required, with a clear understanding of how projects impact day-to-day production and reliability.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas equipment is required, including production, processing, and pipeline systems.
• Ability to travel same day to field locations once or twice per week as required.
