Job Description: As a Petro Analyst Liaison, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between accounting and engineering teams, while also supporting finance, business development (BD), and land departments.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key point of contact between accounting, engineering, finance, BD, and land departments.
• Facilitate communication and coordination of tasks between different teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Provide analytical support for senior-level M&A, divestiture, land, and commercial business development projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and financial models for senior management review.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role in finance and accounting, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with M&A, divestiture, land management, and commercial business development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Proficient in Power BI, Workday or similar finance software
