Job Description Oil Field Laborer Position Overview We are recruiting for our client, a well-established excavating company servicing Morgantown, WV, Western Pennsylvania, the Tri-State area, and Ohio. They're seeking an Oil Field Forklift Laborer to combine yard operations with field support in a dynamic outdoor environment. This role offers hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry for safety-conscious individuals who thrive working both independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $18.00 - $23.00/hour (based on experience) Location: Various field locations in the Tri-State area Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 5 days/week (Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM or Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM) Client Overview Our client is an established excavating company specializing in oil and gas services throughout the greater Appalachian region, including Morgantown, WV, Western Pennsylvania, the Tri-State area, and Ohio. They operate across multiple field locations and prioritize safety, professional development, and employee well-being while maintaining efficient operations in challenging outdoor environments. Responsibilities Yard Operations: Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies using small machinery and equipment Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks Maintain accurate inventory records and organize yard storage areas Transport materials and equipment to designated job sites Field Support: Assist equipment operators and field supervisors with daily operations Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and material handling (50+ lbs regularly) Set up and break down job sites while monitoring safety protocols Provide general labor support across various field locations as assigned General Duties: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment Respond promptly to operational issues and work independently when needed Participate in safety meetings and follow all company policies and industry regulations Requirements Required: Proven small machinery operation experience Basic labor experience in outdoor or industrial settings Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50+ lbs regularly Capability to work independently on remote job sites Strong commitment to workplace safety standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Previous oil and gas industry experience Familiarity with equipment maintenance procedures Adaptability to harsh outdoor conditions and variable weather Benefits Immediate Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day one Financial Security: Company-paid life insurance and 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off: Holidays, vacation, and sick leave Equipment Provided: Company-paid PPE and uniform reimbursement program Professional Development: Comprehensive training program for safety and career growth Overtime Opportunities: Available for additional earnings
