Oil & Gas Landman – HBP Title Specialist

Meadows Oil & Gas Brokerage is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Landman with strong HBP title research experience to join our team. This position will involve running complex title, ownership analysis, and due diligence projects across multiple producing basins.

We are looking for career land professionals who are comfortable handling challenging title issues and producing accurate ownership reports for longterm projects.

Responsibilities
• Run Held-By-Production (HBP) title from sovereignty or patent forward
• Analyze oil and gas leases, assignments, conveyances, and other recorded instruments
• Prepare detailed ownership reports and title runsheets
• Identify and resolve title defects and curative issues
• Conduct courthouse research and utilize online county records and provided images
• Work with operators and internal teams to support due diligence and acquisition projects

Qualifications
• 5+ years oil and gas land experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience running HBP title in producing areas
• Oil & gas leases
• Assignments
• Probate and heirship issues
• Mineral conveyances
• Ability to interpret complex chains of title and production history
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate work product
• Proficient in Excel

Preferred Experience
• Experience with Oklahoma, Texas, and/or Kansas title
• Familiarity with online courthouse systems and county clerk records
• Experience preparing ownership reports and title summaries
