Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our expanding team. This role is critical for the timely and accurate development of bids and proposals for our Oil & Gas facility maintenance and construction projects. You will transform drawings and specifications into competitive estimates that align with our high standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Project Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial electrical projects, specifically for oil and gas gathering systems and facilities.
• Technical Take-offs: Perform unsupervised quantity take-offs for materials and labor using Procore and Bluebeam.
• Data Management: Build and maintain bid spreadsheets and cost analysis reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Hazardous Classifications: Apply knowledge of hazardous area classifications (Class I, Div 1 & 2) to ensure all bids meet NEC and API standards.
• Vendor Coordination: Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Project Support: Assist Project Engineers with project kick-off, close-out, and change-order management.
• Site Visits: Visit job locations to assess site conditions and constructability in various weather conditions.

Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical estimating, with a strong focus on Oil & Gas facilities preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and computerized estimating programs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to lead scope review meetings with external clients.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial design-build processes.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
